Fast and high sensitivity UHPLC/MS columns: 1 mm YMC-Triart

Low sensitivity and low samples amounts can be a daily challenge, especially if MS detection is the method of choice. Therefore, 1 mm ID columns are the ideal column setup for such samples! They provide high sensitivity in LC/MS analyses. Packed with YMC-Triart small molecules, peptides or oligonucleotides can be successfully analysed. At the same time higher performance compared to competitors’ products are achieved! In addition, YMC-Triart 1 mm ID columns work at lower back pressures!

This means that even higher flow rates and consequently shorter run-times are possible.

Thanks to high precision hardware, YMC columns deliver reliable and reproducible results. 1 mm UHPLC columns combine advantages of MicroLC and UHPLC. They enable high sensitivity, even at low concentrations, but with less system complexity.

Find the suitable method for your cannabis analysis!

As the cannabis market for medical and recreational cannabis products is continuously growing all around the globe, quality control has also gained in importance. The gold standard for potency testing, which is a part of the cannabis quality control, is HPLC. Since cannabinoids have similar molecular structures and chemical properties, their HPLC analysis can be quite challenging.
YMC offers a range of applications to meet different needs in cannabis testing:

For these and more cannabis applications, e.g. using the YMC Core-Shell based Meteoric Core column, check out our application database!

Fully inert YMC-Triart metal-free (U)HPLC columns are a Wiley Analytical Science Award 2022 finalist!

There are several reasons why YMC’s metal-free (U)HPLC columns are one of the finalists: A number of analytes are able to interact with conventional inert column hardware materials such as stainless steel or titanium. The YMC-Triart metal-free (U)HPLC columns are fully inert due to their PEEK-lined stainless steel column bodies and the use of PEEK frits. You can achieve excellent peak shapes and reliable recoveries for critical substances such as organophosphates or other coordinating compounds, e.g. fumonisins. The prevention of carryover makes these columns an ideal choice for highly sensitive LC/MS analyses.

If YMC’s inert (U)HPLC columns are among the winners it will be announced at the Wiley Analytical Science Conference.

Check out the YMC-Triart metal-free flyer which demonstrates all the advantages of the fully inert hardware.
