HIC Analysis of Monoclonal Antibodies with high Resolution
Antibodies are often analysed in HIC mode because of the non-denaturating conditions used. Organic solvents in the mobile phase can cause the denaturation of antibodies. By adding of 15 % isopropanol the denaturation can be reduced and higher recoveries are achieved. The analysis of different MAbs using YMC’s BioPro HIC BF achieved high resolution with narrow peak widths.
This application note developed by the University of Geneva (Department of Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry) shows how to realise a robust chromatographic method using four commercially available MAbs: Adalimumab (Humira®), Brentuximab (commercially available as ADC “Brentuximab-vedotin”/ Adcetris®), Pembrolizumab (Keytruda®) and Reslizumab (Cinqaero®) with 15 % isopropanol as modifier can be achieved with higher recoveries.

Leading Meeting BioTalk for Biololgical Production!
BioTalk is a leading annual meeting for biological manufacturing. It brings together senior executives across the world’s pharma and bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing community. The program contains presentations of current strategies and challenges as well as workshops and meetings. This will ensure an effective networking and exchange of the most recent knowledge in the field.
Your chance to get personal support for your current projects by our experts!
Naturally, YMC will be represented as well. If you are engaged preparative biochromatography, be sure to visit our booth at the upcoming BioTalk meeting on 23rd - 24th September 2019 in Berlin!

Increase Life Time of your (U)HPLC Column - wide range of solutions from YMC
YMC recommends that you should always protect your main column by using a suitable guard column to extend the life of your main column and improve its long-term performance.
To use YMC’s guard cartridges YMC provides two guard cartridge holder systems to guarantee the optimum protection for every YMC analytical column. For semi-preparative columns guard cartridge holders are also available.
