The septum must provide the optimal sealing so that the sample does not evaporate or become contaminated. Close attention should be directed to the material of the septum with specific regard to the chemical resistance, hardness, purity and temperature stability of the septum to ensure the correct material is selected. In addition, would it be sensible to consider the use of a pre-cut septum.

YMC Europe proudly attended the grand inauguration of the new YMC site "Kyoto Works", also known as "Advanced Separation Technology Center" at the end of November!
