Reliable differentiation of antisense oligonucleotides and structurally related impurities

The characterisation of therapeutic oligonucleotides is becoming increasingly challenging, particularly when structurally similar impurities must be reliably detected and identified.

Our latest Application Note demonstrates, using nusinersen as an example, how these compounds can be reproducibly separated and unambiguously characterised by IP-RP LC-MS. The study systematically investigates the influence of key method parameters, including temperature, mobile phase composition, and ion-pairing reagents.
